Winter Orchard Care

We hope you had a successful harvest. The dry conditions allowed for cleaner hazelnuts going through the wash line. We saw promising yields from the new varieties, which is exciting not only to us, but the industry as well.

The biggest management task in the winter is pruning, which will be the main focus on our Januray 13th workshop. Pruning is essential to allow for new tree growth that will help increase production and tree health.
